Certified Solar Experts
Tier 1
Our experts start with the Tier 1 Certification, which requires a 3-5 hour course to gain a basic understanding of the solar process, equipment, and Powur platform. To become certified, an individual must achieve a 90% pass rate. With this certification, our experts can provide clients with the confidence that they have a solid foundation of knowledge in solar energy.
Tier 2
To further build on this knowledge, our experts complete the Tier 2 Certification. This course provides a deeper understanding of the solar process, different equipment options, and financing options. Our experts also learn how to present solar across different markets. Like the Tier 1 Certification, a 90% pass rate is required to become certified.
Tier 3
For the highest level of certification, our experts complete the rigorous Tier 3 Certification. This requires completing 3 jobs with a certified Tier 3 partner and 7 jobs on their own, as well as completing a 2-3 hour certification course and having an interview with HR. With this certification, our experts have proven experience and knowledge in the solar industry and can provide top-quality service to clients.
Finance
In addition to solar certifications, our experts hold a Finance Certification. This certification course helps our experts navigate how and when to use different product options to best serve clients. The course explores different lenders and helps them understand the fees and terms. With this certification, our experts can provide comprehensive guidance on financing options to clients.
Roofing
Finally, our experts hold a Roofing Certification. Roofs are an essential part of the solar process, as most installations occur on the roof. Our experts have the knowledge to determine when to recommend roof replacement and how to sell roofing + PV projects.
